The Horse-Shoe Trail is a public trail for hiking and horseback riding. It begins in Valley Forge and continues westward for over miles to its junction with the Appalachian Trail on the crest of Stony Mountain north of Hershey. Horse-Shoe Trail Conservancy, Inc.'s Guide to the Horse-Shoe Trail includes a pocket-sized guidebook and ten topo maps to lead you from Valley Forge National Historical Park to the Appalachian Trail on Stony Mountain.
